Grants Assistance Office (GAO) provides medical researchers at AFRIMS and its collaborators with many resources necessary to obtain sponsored research agreements. This includes but is not limited to identifying funding sources, assisting with budget development, providing resources, negotiating agreement terms, assisting with post-award grants management through the Sponsored Research Support Program (WRAIR)
The Sponsored Research Support Program (SRSP) was created by the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRAA) Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) and The Geneva Foundation to provide proposal development support to WRAIR investigators, to increase extramural funding and research collaboration at WRAIR.
